Want your own server? Follow this easy guide on how to order a VPS at Flaz Cloud, from choosing location and specifications to selecting your favorite operating system instantly.

Having your own server is certainly a big step for the website or application project you're building. At Flaz Cloud, the server ordering process is made very simple and straightforward.

You only need to follow a few short steps and your server will be ready to use in just minutes. We will guide you from the beginning of choosing a package until your server is fully active and ready to use.

1. Start from the Server Menu

Please log in to the Flaz Cloud dashboard first. In the menu section on the left, find and click the Server menu. After the page opens, you will see a blue button labeled Deploy New Server at the top. Click this button to start creating a new VPS.

If you're joining for the first time and don't have an account yet, you can check the guide How to Register a Flaz Cloud Account to make the process smooth. Also make sure your account is secure by following the steps How to Verify Flaz Cloud Account Email because all server login information will be sent there.

2. Choose Location and VPS Type

In the Choose Plan section, you will see several available VPS options. We provide location options in Indonesia (ID) and Singapore (SG).

  • NVMe DDR4 (ID/SG): This option uses the latest and very fast storage media. Perfect for websites that need high speed and heavy workloads.

  • SSD DDR3 (ID): This option is more cost-effective and suitable for trial projects or applications that don't need high power. However, please note if the status is out of stock, you can choose another package.

3. Determine Package According to Budget

After choosing the VPS type, now it's time to determine the server's power level. We provide package options such as Garuda 4GB, 6GB, up to 18GB.

Each package clearly lists the amount of RAM, number of CPUs, and storage capacity you will receive. Click the Select button on the package that best suits the needs of the application you will install later.

4. Choose Your Preferred Operating System

Next you need to choose the operating system or the core of the server. In this section you can choose the latest version of Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, or Rocky Linux.

Even for those of you who don't want to bother typing commands on a black screen, we provide aaPanel option which is automatically installed on Ubuntu. If you need a Windows-based server, we also provide it in the list of options.

5. Set Name and Password

In the Configuration section, you must fill in two important things: Hostname and Root Password.

  • Hostname: Give your server a unique name so it's easy to recognize. For example, you could name it "web-server-main" or "project-server-01".

  • Root Password: Create a strong password with a minimum of 8 characters. Don't forget to write down or remember this password because it will be used when you want to log in to the server.

6. Complete Your Order

Look at the Order Summary section on the right side of the screen. There you can see the package details, server location, and the total price you need to pay each month. If you have a discount coupon, don't forget to enter it in the promo section to make the price cheaper.

If your wallet balance is sufficient, just click the Deploy New Server button. You will see green text stating that the server is being prepared. The page will change automatically and you only need to wait less than 2 minutes until the status changes to active.
